RegenX, a start-up in regenerative and carbon farming, is looking for a Low-Code Engineer (full time, based in HCMC with hybrid work arrangement).
This is a unique opportunity for engineers early in their career with some “coding” skills and a good logic, but who don’t necessarily have many years of experience.
About RegenX:
We’re on a mission to reduce smallholder farmer input cost by replacing chemical fertilizers with the right regenerative practices, while at the same time being able to reduce carbon emissions at the farm gate.
Everything we do revolves around 3 pillars:
- Implementing regenerative programs on the ground along with farmers in key supply chains
- Track the relevant data from various sources to prove successful transition outcomes (higher farmer net profits, carbon reduction per ha, etc.)
- Enable our commercial partners leverage that data to build their own competitive advantage in the supply chain
As part of our business growth, we’re looking for a young motivated professional who has some basic software engineering background and understands the value of leveraging low-code tools to build fast and make an impact quickly.

The work arrangement is full time and hybrid: we sync up offline twice a week in HCMC where everyone brings their agenda for discussion so we can make informed, fast decisions.

Ideally, you have some interest in the following areas: agronomy / farming, soil health, human health, remote sensing, data analytics and solutions to reduce or remove carbon emissions.
About the role
The main “Job-To-Be-Done” is: to quickly build tech tools / platforms to enable business goals
This typically includes activities like:
- Build mobile and web app prototypes using low-code tools, back end automation tools, deployment tools, etc.
- Build automation workflows (administration, content production, knowledge management, outreach, etc.) using AI agents and/or automation platforms
- Constantly tinker with AI and automation tools that can boost business productivity as well as empower our customers to be more awesome at their job

Skills and background we are looking for:
- A very good Maths / science background and have studied at one of the top science universities in Vietnam
- 1-3 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (such as a start-up for example)
- You can read and write English at an advanced level. Advanced level of verbal English communication is a plus
- Note that this is a low-code role, not a NO-code role; therefore you will still need to code things, know how to use webhooks / API, deploy things in production, etc.
- Basic coding skills: Javascript, Python, SQL, R is a plus; good command of OOP
- Some experience in using ML (CNN in particular) – previous uni projects are OK provided they’re of good quality and you can explain to us how you built it
- Demonstrated experience with low-code tools (FlutterFlow, Coda, n8n, Crew AI, Notion, etc.)
- Experience in GIS is a plus (Google Earth Engine or other GIS)
- Daily user of AI tools
General terms and conditions of the job
- Full time (don’t apply if you’re looking for a part-time or freelance gig)
- 13 months salary, PVI insurance, BHXH based on full month salary, laptop (after probation) and AI tooling, unlimited leaves, hybrid work arrangement
- What’s hybrid work? We meet offline twice a week in HCMC (Vietnam), the rest is remote
- You may have to travel within Vietnam from time to time to directly meet with farmers and / or partners to build farmer and customer centric tech solutions

- Salary range: we’ll discuss based on the assessment during the interview process. We don’t work with fixed salary ranges
